Volkswagen – Sicherheit ist Serie
Volkswagen came to us with a challenge: to develop a series of TV spots for their Sicherheit in Serie campaign, focusing on the life-saving safety features in their latest models. We wanted to go beyond the typical car ad formula, so we created a narrative that starts light and playful—family moments, friends heading out for a birthday party, everyday life as we all know it. But then we dial up the tension.
Each spot builds to a shocking, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment of danger—a split second where everything could change. This isn’t just for effect; it’s timed to hit viewers right at the peak of the ad break, breaking through the noise and leaving a sense of unease. That’s when the Volkswagen safety assistant steps in, turning a potential accident into a sigh of relief. It’s a jarring contrast, but that’s the point: to show just how quickly things can go wrong, and how these features can make all the difference.
It’s storytelling that’s true-to-life, relatable, and impactful—because safety shouldn’t just be a selling point; it should be a feeling you can trust.
